The President of Prahova County Council, Mircea Cosma, received today the visit of His Excellency, Philippe BEKE, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiar of the the Kingdom of Belgium to Romania. He was accompanied also by a delegation representing the Belgian investors to Prahova.
In the meeting, the parties basically approached topics in connection with rendering more dynamic the economic relations, as well as development of new business partnerships between the investors in county of Prahova and those in the Kingdom of Belgium.
The Romanian officials reiterated their availability to lend the necessary support to the Belgian investors in county of Prahova. In this regard, the discussions featured the opportunities of investing, as well as examples of good practice.
The Belgian counterparties summarized the businesses pursued by the companies of this country in our county, including Eurosense, Alinso Group, Van Moer Group, Willemen, Recticel, WDP, and H.Essers, as well as the work of the AWEX and FIT Agency trade offices.
The diplomatic meeting also covered the services provided by the authorities of Prahova to support the existing or potential Belgian investors: infrastructure, utilities, business parks, labor available in the country, and legal aspects in connection with environmental protection and waste management.
To conclude, the two parties identified an opportunity for bilateral institutional cooperation on areas of common interest, and discussed the development outlooks as regards the relations between the County of Prahova and the Kingdom of Belgium.
